each week , the owners team
will play up against another team. the team with the higher score receives
a win for the week, and the lower scoring team will receive a loss. the
team which is designated as the "home team "that week will receive
a one point "home field advantage point" in the case of a tie
score, giving him a win.
at the end of the IFL season
( week 14 in the NFL), the two teams from each division will make the
playoffs.
Free Agency/ Trades
After week 3, each team will
receive 7 free agency picks to last the year. once those picks are extinguished,
the team in question will not receive any more picks. A team may acquire
Free QAgents all the way up to th elast game of the season. ONce the playoffs
start, Free agents may not be acquired. The only exception to this rule
is in case of injury. if a team has run out of free agency pickups and
loses a man to injury (the NFL team has placed him on injured reserve),
the owner may put that player on "injured reserve" and select
a replacement. once that player is off of injured reserve in the NFL,
the team owner must release either the original player or the replacement.
free agency moves are free. Each team will have the ability to do this
twice in a season
there is no limit to the amount
of trades between teams. Suspicious trades are subject to review by the
league commissioner and his council of himself.his decision is final.
Trading may begin in preseason (during the draft) and will end in week
10 of the regular season. after week 10, no trades are alowed in the IFL.
